2009 Bogle Phantom:
The 2009 apparition, known as Bogle Phantom, has deep ruby color with brilliance in the glass.  Upon pouring, aromas of wet cedar, red berry fruit and red licorice fill the air. The wine has mouth filling structure laced with dark cherry and pomegranate that lingers on the palate.  With power to spare, this full bodied wine would pair nicely with any wild game and would complement a beef roast with root vegetables exquisitely.  Ready to drink now.  Reviewed on 01/10/2013.
2009 Stags Leap Wine Cellars Hands of Time:
This bordeaux style blend has a bright ruby color with great clarity.  Upon swirling, aromas of strawberry, bing cherry, toast, clove and vanilla are released.  Upon first taste is something unexpected.  Dark berry fruit and spice, backed with a light laced tannin structure leave you wanting more.  The finish is light, but lingers with a touch of spice. Definitely meant to drink now but should age gracefully over the next couple of years.  Reviewed on 01/17/13.
2010 DeLoach Heritage Reserve Pinot Noir:
Bright garnet in color with brilliant edges in the glass.  On the nose there is an enticing smokiness with underlying tones of wet cedar and cranberry.  The wine definitely drenches the palate with rich flavors of cherry, pomegranate and black pepper.  Overall its medium body with mid palate structure gives way to a finish that is very clean.  I think this is a wonderful wine to accompany fresh grilled fish or a roast pork loin.  Reviewed on 01/28/13.
2010 Plumpjack Napa Valley Merlot:
This is definitely a Merlot drinkers Merlot.  A deep purple color coats the glass along with  with ruby edges.  This Merlot is very rich, even on the nose, with aromas of plum, tobacco, wet cedar and a surprising hint of  red licorice.  Mouth watering structure and a velvety feel are welcomed with each sip, accompanied by chewy flavors of raspberry and chocolate covered cherries.  This is a very rich wine with an extremely long finish.  Definitely leaves your mouth yearning for more.  Reviewed on 01/30/2013.
2011 Banshee Mordecai White:
A vibrant blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chenin Blanc and Tocai Friuliano that is pale straw in color.  This aromatic white exudes a bouquet of pineapple, honeysuckle and butterscotch followed by aromas of pear and apricot.  Has a great mouth feel of minerality and acidity that leads to a flavor profile full of crisp carmel apple, wet stone fruit and a bite of citrus on the finish.  Clean, refreshing and begging for oysters on the half shell!  Reviewed on 02/06/2013.
2010 Banshee Napa Valley Cabernet:
This wine is a wonderful expression of Napa Valley Cabernet.  Its deep cherry color makes every glass look warm and inviting.  Upon first breath, the wine expels aromas of blackberry and cassis.  On the palate, this wine delivers a quick hit of blackberry and plum complemented with some nicely integrated tannin structure.  All of this leading up to a long finish and a wine that will age gracefully over the next 10+ years.  Reviewed on 02/08/2013.
2010 Santa Christina Toscana:
This baby Super Tuscan is ruby red in color and comprised of  60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah.  Aromas of cherries, pomegranate and smoked meats are followed by a wonderful floral bouquet.  Total balance is brought forth on the palate with nicely structured acidity and soft flavors of strawberry, raspberry and tobacco. The finish is clean, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for the next bite of food... or the next drink!  Great with Italian meats and cheeses and contrasts well with Bechamel sauce themed dishes.  Reviewed on 02/13/2013.
2008 Justin Syrah:
The 2008 Justin Syrah is an unfined and unfiltered hands on gem.  Deep inky purple in color with bright clean edges in the glass (due to the 15% alcohol by volume).  On the nose, I detected a juicy blackberry and boysenberry fruit layer laced with mint, eucalyptus, leather and a touch of black pepper.  The fleshy mid palate is bursting with flavors of blackberry, plum and dark chocolate backed up by approachable tannins.  The finish is still powerful yet lingers gracefully on the palate.  Reviewed on 02/16/2013.
The 2009 Robert Hall Syrah from Paso Robles is a brilliant ruby color with medium depth in the glass.  Upon swirling, abundant long legs appear along the sides of the glass indicative of the high 14.5% alcohol by volume.  Aromas of black fruit, leather and spice are of medium intensity.  Aged in oak for 18 months, this Syrah has medium body and weight on the palate accompanied by flavors of blackberry, cherry, oak and spice.  The finish is long with a definite mouth watering conclusion.  Reviewed on 03/01/2013.
